UPDATE 2 AUGUST 12 2009 - My goodness! Donations for Moogle have reached $609.39! I only asked for $300 - $500 I'm just so grateful for everyone's kindness! I Have enough now I think for Moogle's eye surgery and all extra money will be used to either help him with further medicl costs or to help his cat family. If you would like to continue to donate to Moogle and his family that is ok too! These poor little cats could use all the help they cn get .

I'm in tears, the amount has over flowed from what I asked for donations of $500 to $594.39!!! I am very very grateful to all of you for your donations, for your artwork, favs and journals that you all have so kindly donated your time to! I have replied to most of the messages here on DA now and will reply to all emails and donations momentarily as I felt I should publish this journal asap. I have contacted the vet and am waiting their reply via email since yesterday but it is taking too long the response so I will be calling them first thing when their vet office opens tomorrow!

Moogle tonight did not eat much and his health is fading. I fear he will not be around next week if I do not act fast. He seems to have a fever by the way he looks and the way he droops his head and acts depressive. His will to eat is still there, but he is not frisky and active to eat like he normally is. Usually he is one of the first... now he is the last....... The second biggest problem I am facing right now is that Moogle's humane cat trap has not arrived in the mail yet so that I can catch him and take him to the vet. It is supposed to arrive this week. The only other thing that I have is a cat carrier and I don’t' think that will work. I have to rely on a ride but if I can get a ride I can get to the animal shelter and maybe borrow a trap. Today I was at my doctor's appointment for my baby’s ultrasound so I was unable to travel anywhere else, and I am very far behind on sleep because I am so worried about Moogle. I've only gotten about 3 or 4 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours I am so worried.

If I am lucky maybe the vet office will have a humane trap that I can borrow and they will be willing to lend it to me. I will ask them tomorrow and visit them as soon as I can to get it if they do. I will fight to save this homeless cat’s life. I will not give up I refuse to let him die like this. Some of you are wondering what has happened to Moogle to cause his eye injury and what it is like for him in his life. Moogle is completely homeless and I have been brining food and care to him everyday along with the others. He is living on the streets as it has been impossible for me to catch him and bring him home and I don’t want to try and force him because he will be too scared to come for food. He trusts me enough to feed him but humans have been cruel to him and taught him that humans are bad. I feel Moogle lost his eye as the most likely suspect I fear is a Bb gun that was brandished by a cruel neighborhood in the area who hates cats as Moogle has no other marks on him and he’s very small. The other male cats are very sweet to him like Senna. Senna seemed concerned for Moogle and licked his head. If I can find out for sure that Moogle was shot with a BB gun I will do my best to find out who did it on the street and report them to my local animal welfare agency and the SPCA.

I have been sent many links by kind people on how to catch and care for feral cats so I read up on everything tonight. Since I have learned of the homeless cats I have been researching all over the internet and you tube as you tube is especially helpful on showing how to catch homeless cats. The only major problem like I’ve mentioned is that the trap just hasn’t arrived yet. I wont have a problem I think getting Moogle into the trap as long as he still has his will to eat. Time is running out.

I will update again soon on Moogle. I’ve taken many pictures of him tonight and will have those posted shortly as well . Please help me continue to fight to save this cats life. If you want to continue to donate to the homeless cats it would be much appreciated as Moogle will most likely need extended medical care after his eye is removed and the other cats are also in need of care. I’m so entirely grateful that the goal has been overflowed for him! You have ALL helped greatly, from the favs to the journals to the artwork to the donations. EVERYONE who took a part has helped Moogle and me!

UPDATE $372 has been reached for Moogle's eye surgery goal thus far! I'm over half way there now for the goal of $500 for his surgery! Thank you all who have contributed thusly, I'm incredibly grateful to you! Please spread the word so that we can reach the $500 for little Moogle :cheer: has offered to help me with Moogle and friend's youtube video! Thank you kindly Vekke she has been a major help to me donating money and her time to help Moogle and even drew a lovely piece of art for him! And thank you to for writing your journal and helping to make another donations fund for Moogle! Everyone else too who has written a journal thank you so much, there are many out there who have or who have faved the images of Moogle or wrote a journal on his behalf and thank you to Robyn_paperdoll for also donating your time to draw an adorable piece of artwork for Moogle! Thank you all for your help, every little bit is helping this poor sick homeless cat. Tonight when I went to feed the homeless cats Moogle did not show up right away and it took him a great time to do so which worried me to death thinking he had gone off to die somewhere or had been killed by a cruel neighbor or even going through depression somewhere alone because of his eye. Finally he showed up and he was not as active as he normally is and he didn't eat very much . He mostly just sack back watching the others. I am very worried his health is deteriorating and it's crucial this eye surgery is taken cared for FAST. Thank you again all so much, please keep spreading the word about Moogle! UPDATE 2 Would anyone be willing to help me make a youtube video of the digital photos that I have of Moogle and the other homeless cats? I would like to post it up on my youtube channel to spread awareness of Moogle and the other cats even further. If you or if you know anyone that can help me I would greatly appreciate it! $303 has now been raised for Moogle's life saving eye surgery! It would greatly help to have this movement continue forward until I can reach a goal of $500 as eye surgery is very expensive. Tonight Moogle wasn't as active as he usually is when he eats and it took a long time for him to come for food. I'm very worried that slowly he might be slipping away...


UPDATE 1- I have almost reached my goal funds for Moogle's eye surgery! I need $300 - $500 for his surgery costs that will remove his eye and potentially save his life. Thanks to the kindess of others with your donations I have been able to save $278 for his surgery costs! For everyone who donates I will send a thank you card and a special image of Moogle. All funds donated to help Moogle go to help Moogle with his eye surgery or to help the other cats in the cat colony with special needs. Please spread awareness around of Moogle so that you can help me achieve his funds goal for eye surgery. As soon as I have reached his funds goal I will be able to take him in and schedule an appointment to have his surgery done. Bless your sweet hearts I am ever so grateful for your help!!







Moogle the cat desperately needs eye surgery that could save his life. If everyone would be willing to donate $5 or $10, less or more it would add up and I would have enough money to pay for his eye surgery. Please help Moogle as he deserves a chance, he has a very hard life living on the streets. Moogle is one of the homeless cats that I am caring for. He is currently still living on the streets and I am trying everyday to earn his trust and feed him so that I can take him to the vet to get him neutered and vacicnated but I cannot adopt him and am hoping to find someone who can or at least take him to let him live in a feral cat colony cared for by humans.

There are a total of 8 cats but I have only been able to take photos of a couple of them.

Tonight I was yelled at by people who are not involved or have anything to do with me in general for helping the homeless cat colony. I worked hard to save money on my own to help these cats. I am doing everything I can for them. the only ting I don't think I can do is pay for Moogle's eye surgery which I know he needs to have that eye removed . It's going to cost me probably close to $300 - $500 to have it removed.

I know I am running out of time because Moogle needs this eye surgery and he may die. Bijou my indoor white cat has surgery on the 20th of this month to remove two teeth and her appointment will have cost me close to $700 total with her last appointment and this one coming up so I am struggling at the moment. I just paid in full a an almost $4,000 emergency bill to the hospital due to pregnancy complications and I am not on insurance.

I’m trying not to take on more then I can handle however I cannot just simply walk away turning my back on these cats even with a baby on the way. Please consider donating a little money to help Moogle with his eye. If everyone pays it forward it will add up and I’m sure with faith that there will be enough to help his eye. Thank you kindly.
